THE TARDIS EDITION
LOOK! WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOORS THE LIGHT FLASHES – AND IT MAKES A TARDIS NOISE!!
Composer and BBC Radiophonic Workshop Archivist Mark Ayres spent over a year researching, compiling, editing and mastering the set with the principle work being done on the first seven discs showcasing material being released for the first time.
The eleven discs are packed in DVD-style digipacks, one for each of the first eleven Doctors, and then inserted in individual slipcases. There is a 52-page booklet with a history of Doctor Who music, details of the sources of the audio masters, notes from fourteen of the composers who worked on the programme and detailed track listings for each disc. There is also a numbered certificate in each box.
There is a limited number of this item left from the original edition – once they’re gone, they’re gone!
